The funding for the school comes from two main areas; the first area is sponsors, both individuals and businesses, who all support this worthy cause by either sponsoring a child at the cost of approximately £60 per year or by making a generous annual donation. The second area is fundraising; throughout each year we, as a foundation, organise a range of fundraising events to raise awareness of our cause.
 Annual sponsorship of £60, a mere £5 per month, will cover the cost of school uniforms, all exercise and text books, pencils, pens, drawing equipment, musical instruments etc. for a child, as well as contributing to the teachers’ salaries and running costs of the school.

The trustees receive no remuneration or expenses and we are pleased to say that 97% of all monies raised in the UK go to The Gambia; the only deductible expenses are for stamps, stationery and fundraising costs. |
